Wedding Lei - This original watercolor painting was inspired by the beauty and fragrance of the flower and maile leaf leis so lovingly given to newlyweds in Hawai‘i. Soft plumeria blossoms and graceful strands of maile carry a feeling of blessing, celebration, and deep affection. Their heavenly scent lingers in memory, evoking the sweetness of love, family, and sacred island tradition. With this painting, I wanted to capture that tender spirit — the simple elegance, romance, and aloha woven into a wedding lei.
